The Origin of NoDots Phaser Tubes!
Founder Bryan Johnson, a software engineer by trade and avid 3D printing enthusiast, started NoDots out of a series of ideas he made to enhance his own home, with previous projects such as artistic wall sockets, shelving, garage spool holders, and dozens more.
NoDots came from a need to take the tacky look of LED strings and turn them into elegant looking light sources. The market has failed to produce anything so far that addresses the issue, with the primary products being aluminum shafts with plastic overlays that do not address the main problem - masking the dot light source of the LEDs and ugly strings they are attached to.
After trying several commercial products, he knew the only way to make them look right was to do it himself - and NoDots was born and became an instant hit with his neices and nephews and his friends business, he begain testing over 50 versions in varying in material, size, strength tests, locking mechanisms, and more, until the now commercial NoDots Phaser Tubes were born.
This final version is what we are selling to hundreds of people daily from our current 3D print farm located just outside of Pheonix Arizona in the San Tan Valley.
